Privacy policy

• What you send us. If you email us, we have your address, any name you give, and your message. We use them to reply and for nothing else.
• What every web request carries. Our host, Vercel, receives the details any website receives when your browser asks for a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, and uses them to deliver and protect the site.
• Analytics, if it is running. Google Analytics 4 records which pages are viewed, how visitors arrived and roughly where they are, in aggregate. The next section explains how to turn it off.

We do not ask for health information of any kind. Reading about a peptide or its price tells us nothing about you, and there is no form on this site that collects a diagnosis, prescription or measurement.

The site runs analytics on an opt-out basis. The first time you visit, a banner at the bottom of the screen offers Accept and Decline, and your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key buythispeptide-consent, with the value granted or denied.

• Until you choose, or if you accept, analytics storage is allowed, so Google Analytics can set its cookies and count your visit.
• If you decline, the site tells Google’s tag to deny analytics storage and deletes the Google Analytics cookies already in your browser (those named _ga, _gid and _gat, and their variants). On later visits the denial is set before the tag loads, so no new analytics cookie is written. Google may still receive a basic signal that a page was viewed, without cookies; Google’s opt-out browser add-on stops that as well.
• Whatever you choose, the three advertising signals (ad storage, ad user data and ad personalization) are set to denied for every visitor. This site runs no advertising.

The banner does not come back on its own. To change your answer, clear this site’s data for buythispeptide.com in your browser settings, and the banner will appear on your next visit.

On pages that can show an exit prompt, the site may save the time the prompt last appeared, under btp_exit_last, so that it shows at most once a week and once per visit. It may also save a random number under btp_exit_ab so that you see the same version of the prompt each time. Neither identifies you. The time never leaves your browser; if you follow a seller link from the prompt, the version you saw travels with the referral code described next.

Seller links go through a short redirect at an address beginning /go/. The redirect itself saves nothing about your click, beyond the ordinary request record our host keeps. Where the link belongs to an affiliate program, it adds a referral code for the network that tracks it, recording which seller, which part of this site the link was on, its position there and which version of a prompt you saw. It adds nothing that identifies you. Once you arrive, the seller and its affiliate network may set their own cookies to credit the referral, under their own privacy policies, not this one.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The services that can receive data through this site are our host, Vercel; Google, for analytics, unless you decline; and the sellers and affiliate networks you reach through a seller link. We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect the site and its readers.

Wherever you live, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it is used. Email terms@buythispeptide.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We will ask only for what we need to match your request to what we hold. Because we hold so little, most requests come down to an email thread.

California residents have these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, plus the right not to be discriminated against for using them. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

Visitors from the EU, UK or Switzerland. The sellers compared here generally serve patients in the United States only, and the site is not directed to you. If you visit anyway, you have the rights the GDPR and UK GDPR give you, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection and a complaint to your data protection authority. Replying to your email rests on your request; analytics rests on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used, and you can object by declining it.

The site is for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

Email is kept as long as we need it to deal with what you wrote about. The site is served only over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but there is very little here to protect: no accounts, no passwords and no payment details.

Any change to this policy moves the date printed at the top of the page. The terms of use and disclosures cover the rest of how the site works.
