eMed, priced

eMed’s individual plan separates its monthly membership from the prescription bill. The application-and-screening payment is a third charge, and the medicine headline is a starting amount.

Totals are our arithmetic from the seller’s published figures. The seller states no amount for kit and medication delivery, so none is counted.

The bill, in one line

Budget for two recurring lines and the initial screening payment. The medication headline alone understates the advertised program cost, while the exact drug, dose and delivery bill still need confirmation.

The consumer version of eMed is a monthly GLP-1 program with home screening and access to branded Wegovy. Its FAQ covers both oral tablets and injectable pens. A separate membership supports clinical review, check-ins and other program services; it is not described as an all-inclusive medicine subscription. The platform also serves employers, whose insurance and benefit arrangements can be different. Compare the individual enrollment offer if you are paying for yourself. An employer-focused page does not establish a personal cash price.

The public individual page lists prescription medication from $149.99 per month and an eMed membership at $149.99 per month. The medication charge applies only if a prescription is approved. Illustrative arithmetic using the published starting figures gives $299.98 per month before any unresolved additional costs. The one-time $49 application-and-screening fee brings that illustrative initial sum to $348.98. Neither calculation is a completed checkout quote. The generic medication floor is not explicitly assigned to a particular tablet, pen, strength or later dose. The advertised floor therefore cannot establish a route-specific drug quote. Ask for the actual prescribed product and the next refill amount. A photograph beside a price cannot establish the route or dose attached to the offer.

The fine print

Prepay
The individual service advertises a monthly subscription, with screening charged once. A multi-month discount or a required three-, six- or twelve-month purchase is not established on these pages. Obtain the membership start date, renewal interval and payment schedule before completing enrollment. The FAQ describes a 30-day tablet supply and a 28-day injection supply, which are quantities supplied rather than proof of the membership billing clock. If medication and membership renew on different dates, ask how an interrupted prescription affects the next service charge.
Cancellation
The individual FAQ does not set out a self-service cancellation path or a notice deadline for stopping future membership charges. Contact support for those steps and retain the response. Do not assume that stopping medicine automatically cancels membership. Refund rules are clearer: the screening kit is nonrefundable after it ships or after the onboarding call, and medication or kits cannot be returned once dispensed, even unopened. General terms say fees for a medical consultation already received are nonrefundable and prescription sales are final. A rejected application therefore should not be interpreted as a promise to refund every earlier service or screening payment. Ask which charge will be collected at each stage and what happens if the clinician requests more information rather than issuing a prescription.
Shipping
Home collection kits and prescribed medicine are part of the service workflow, but the individual pages do not establish a delivery charge, a universal free-shipping promise or a single guaranteed medication arrival date. Nor do they identify the dispensing pharmacy that will fill every individual order. The three-business-day eligibility response described in the FAQ follows clinical review and is not a delivery commitment. Get the pharmacy name, delivery estimate, cold-chain handling instructions for an injectable product and the policy for a damaged or delayed parcel before you rely on a refill date. The site’s employer pharmacy-network provisions are conditional on employer benefits; they do not identify the pharmacy for a self-pay applicant.

  • The medicine floor is not tied to a specific dose and form
  • No public cancellation cutoff established
  • Shipping amount and dispensing pharmacy remain unresolved
  • One-time screening increases the initial payment

FAQ

4 questions

What does eMed advertise for an individual plan?

A $149.99 monthly membership, medicine from $149.99 monthly and a separate $49 one-time application-and-screening payment. A final prescription quote can differ from the starting amount.

What is the starting total including membership?

Adding the separately advertised membership and medication floors gives an illustrative $299.98 per month. Adding screening gives an illustrative $348.98 initial sum, before any unresolved costs; neither is a completed order quote.

Does a 28-day pen supply mean membership renews every 28 days?

No. The FAQ describes supply length, while the offer calls membership monthly. Confirm the actual billing dates rather than converting the package duration into a renewal rule.

Can I return an unopened eMed kit or medicine?

The FAQ says dispensed kits and medication cannot be returned or refunded. It also makes the test kit nonrefundable after shipment or an onboarding call.
