Costco Wegovy: The Maker's Self-Pay Price at a Warehouse Pharmacy

Novo Nordisk names Costco as a channel for its Wegovy and Ozempic self-pay offers. The maker's price at every dose, what a cash fill does to your deductible, and when the copay card or Medicare's program costs less.

Wegovy at Costco is Novo Nordisk’s self-pay price, reached through a Costco pharmacy. The maker’s standard price is $349 a box[2]. A box holds 4 pens, a 28-day supply[2]. Every route to the brand is in Wegovy cost.

Why Costco carries the maker’s price

Novo Nordisk announced its current self-pay offers on November 17, 2025[1]. It listed three ways to reach them[1]. One was its own websites, with a coupon usable at pharmacies. One was NovoCare Pharmacy. The third was organizations that work directly with Novo Nordisk, and Costco was one of them[1].

So the number to expect is the maker’s. A pharmacy can still quote its own figure, so confirm it at the counter before paying.

The $199 price is for new self-pay patients only[2]. It covers two fills at the two lowest doses[2]. Every fill after that is $349 through 2.4 mg[2].

Wegovy prices every pen dose from 0.25 to 2.4 mg the same[2]. So the month does not rise as the dose steps up. The HD pen at 7.2 mg is the exception, at $399[2].

The Wegovy pill starts at $149 for 1.5 mg[2]. That is a starting dose. The label’s maintenance dose is 25 mg[4], and that bottle is $299[2].

Costco Ozempic price

The same release covers Ozempic[1]. Novo’s Ozempic self-pay price is $349 a month through 1 mg[3]. The 2 mg pen is $499[3]. Ozempic is used for type 2 diabetes, not weight loss[3]. Its full pricing is in Ozempic cost.

Cash price or insurance: pick one per fill

The self-pay offer runs outside insurance[2]. You cannot seek reimbursement for it[2]. You cannot count it toward a deductible or out-of-pocket limit either[2].

With commercial coverage for Wegovy, the copay card can bring a fill to $25[2]. Savings cap at $100 per one-month fill[2]. Run the card first if your plan covers Wegovy.

Against compounded semaglutide

Compounded semaglutide is not sold under the Wegovy name and is not FDA approved. Each seller sets its own price. Every published price is on the semaglutide price board.

Compare like with like: same milligrams, same weeks, all fees in. The cost-per-mg tool handles different vial sizes. The all-in monthly calculator adds membership and shipping. The cheapest semaglutide guide shows where low headlines come from.

FAQ

4 questions

How much is Wegovy at Costco?

Novo Nordisk names Costco as a channel for its self-pay offer, so the price to expect is the maker's: an introductory price for a new patient's first two fills, then one standard price per box from 0.25 to 2.4 mg, and a higher price for the 7.2 mg HD pen. Confirm the quote at the counter.

What is the Costco Ozempic price?

Novo Nordisk's Ozempic self-pay offer is one price per month from 0.25 to 1 mg and a higher price for the 2 mg pen. Ozempic is labeled for type 2 diabetes, not weight loss.

Does a cash Wegovy fill count toward my deductible?

No. The self-pay offer runs outside insurance, and its terms say it cannot be reimbursed or counted toward a deductible or out-of-pocket limit.

Is the Wegovy copay card cheaper than the Costco cash price?

If your commercial plan covers Wegovy, the copay card can bring a fill down to as little as $25, with savings capped at $100 per one-month fill. Whether that beats the self-pay price depends on your plan's copay. If your plan does not cover Wegovy, the self-pay price applies.
